Innovation Exchange

Innovation-exchange

This is where the noisy, messy, hands-on work of project-based problem solving will unfold. Flexible workspaces, movable walls, and technology will come together in an open plan designed for collaboration. Student teams working on Major Qualifying Projects, Interactive Qualifying Projects, humanities projects and Great Problems Seminar projects will converge here to pursue innovative solutions to challenging problems and interact with internal and external partners.

The Innovation Exchange will give freshmen working on projects in their Great Problems Seminar access to flexible, technology-enabled space, as well as exposure to the ideas, expertise, and skills of their peers and faculty advisors. Likewise, juniors and seniors working in the Innovation Exchange will benefit from access to each other’s ideas, as well as the collaborative learning, impactful research, and transformative projects unfolding on other floors of the Foisie Innovation Studio.
